Skid Steer Attachments

Skid steers do the heavy lifting on most farms, ranches, and job sites — but the machine is only as useful as the attachments on it. Farm Suppliez carries skid steer attachments built for real work: grapples, rock buckets, pallet forks, hay bale handlers, and specialty tools from brands you'll actually see on the job.

What's in the catalog

  • Grapples — brush grapples, root grapples, clam grapples, firewood grapples, and bale grapples from Top Dog Attachments, Stinger, and ANBO
  • Buckets — rock buckets sized for specific tractor brands (Kubota BX, John Deere 1–4 Series, Massey Ferguson, Yanmar), tooth buckets, manure buckets, side-flow buckets for heavy or light material, and tuff tooth buckets
  • Pallet forks — walk-through pallet forks from Redline Systems built to handle real loads
  • Specialty attachments — Top Dog Calf Catcher, hay bale accumulators, and other purpose-built tools you won't find at a general equipment dealer

How to choose a skid steer attachment

Three things to check before you buy:

  1. Mount type — most attachments use the universal skid steer plate (sometimes called the "quick attach" or "universal mount"). A few are OEM-specific. Each product page lists the mount type.
  2. Hydraulic flow rating — if the attachment runs on hydraulics (grapples, augers, brush cutters), match the attachment's required flow (GPM) and pressure (PSI) to your machine. Standard flow vs. high flow makes a real difference; an attachment built for high-flow won't work well on a standard-flow machine.
  3. Machine weight class — mini skid steers, compact track loaders, and full-size skid steers all use universal-style mounts but vary in lift capacity. Make sure the attachment's weight and intended load fits your machine's rated operating capacity.

If you're not sure how your machine is rated, the operator's manual will list flow, pressure, and ROC. Or call us — we'll work through compatibility with you before you order.

Why buy from Farm Suppliez

We're authorized dealers for every brand we carry — Top Dog Attachments, Stinger Attachments, Redline Systems, Loflin Fabrication, ANBO, and more. That means full manufacturer warranties, factory-direct parts support, and live freight quotes at checkout so you see the actual shipping cost before you commit. Most in-stock attachments ship in 1–3 business days; built-to-order pieces typically ship in 4–6 weeks.

Call (307) 417-6686 if you want to talk through compatibility before ordering. Mon–Fri, 8am–4pm MT, you'll reach someone who knows the equipment.

Skid Steer Attachment FAQ

What's a "universal skid steer mount"?

Most modern skid steers, compact track loaders, and even some compact tractors with adapter plates use a standardized quick-attach interface called the universal skid steer mount. Attachments built for this mount will fit any machine using it — Bobcat, Caterpillar, Case, Kubota SVL/SSV, John Deere, Mustang, and most others. We list mount type on every product page.

What's the difference between standard flow and high flow hydraulics?

Standard flow skid steers typically deliver 17–24 GPM at around 3,000 PSI. High flow machines deliver 30+ GPM. Hydraulic attachments — grapples, augers, brush cutters, snow pushers — are rated for one or the other. Running a high-flow attachment on a standard-flow machine usually won't work; running a standard-flow attachment on a high-flow machine can damage components if no flow restrictor is used. Always match the spec.

Will skid steer attachments fit my mini skid steer?

Sometimes. Mini skid steers from Toro, Vermeer, Ditch Witch, Bobcat MT-series, and Kanga use a smaller mount than full-size skid steers. Some manufacturers (like Loflin Fabrication) build mini-skid-steer-specific attachments. We label these clearly on the product page.

Can I use these attachments on a compact tractor?

Many of them, yes — if your tractor has a universal skid steer quick-attach adapter on the front end loader, you can run any universal-mount skid steer attachment. Some grapples and buckets are sold under both categories. If you don't have an adapter, look at our tractor attachments collection for tractor-specific gear.

Are these new attachments?

Yes — every attachment we sell is brand new, direct from the manufacturer. We are authorized dealers, so each product ships with the full manufacturer warranty.
