With the EZ Spot UR Wire Reel, winding up wire is easy. Very EZ! The wire reel is designed for an operator to pick up spools ranging from 24 inches to 50 inches wide and a maximum diameter of 72 inches. The Wire Reel contains locating plates for lining up the spool with the shaft for easy loading. A spring loaded pin locks into one of the outer holes of the spool, providing a non-slip grip. The two main clamping plates are rubber lined for additional grip. The Wire Reel is capable of free-wheeling for unwinding wire off of a spool. Loading and unloading spools is safe and easy. Equipment Specifications
- Equipped with two 2.5" x 12.5" hydraulic clamp cylinders. Each cylinder has a breakout force of 14,726 lbs.
- The clamping plates are rubber lined for increased grip on the spool.
- Two main shafts are Ø2.5" 4140 that go into center hole of spool.
- Spring-loaded pin catches outer hole in spool for a non-slip grip when winding wire.
- Rotation is powered by a hydraulic motor and planetary gear box combination. Produces a maximum of 46,452 in-lbs of torque and 95 rpm at 3000 psi and 40 gpm.
- Motor has a displacement of 18.7 cubic inches per revolution.
- Gear box has a 5.2:1 reduction ratio.
- Comes complete with hoses, flush faced couplers, spring hose mount, and wiring harness.
- Can be adapted to fit excavators, wheel loaders, telehandlers and backhoes*.
*Requires specialty bolt-on mount.
