The Redline Systems Inc. 60″ John Deere Compact Tractor Light Material and Snow Bucket has a larger capacity than the factory bucket for lifting items that are bulky and light like leaves, mulch, wood chips, firewood and snow. This bucket was designed specifically for John Deere subcompact tractors and uses John Deere’s factory quicktach system.
The shell of the bucket is constructed with 10 gauge mild steel to help keep the weight down. This shell is then is reinforced with 1/4″ plates along the front leading edges of the bucket side the keep them from bending and deforming. There are also two 1/4″ internal back stiffeners to help keep the bucket straight. A 1 3/4″ tube runs the width of the bucket and is tied into the mounts to help support the back of the bucket with front to back flexing. There is a 1/2″ x 4″ 1055 grade carbon steel cutting edge welded into the front of the bucket. The bottom of the bucket uses three 3/8″ x 3″ A36 wear strips to help protect the bottom of the bucket from getting holes worn into it. There is one strip down the middle of the bucket and two along the bottom of the bucket side to help with wear and act as a curb guard to protect the bucket sides from damage.
